Using auto-ethnography to bring visibility to coloniality

چکیده
This article traces how coloniality traps research and researchers in the Global North into maintaining rigidity of its politics logics through meaning process. As International Social Work continues to gain popularity, supporting proliferation across borders, theoretical underpinnings must be unpacked with context collaboration cultures involved that give both. The crux rests within implications for qualitative social work—both within, borders as a way promoting justice marginalized communities. It also provides new possibilities transcending translating methodologies fields work anthropology. To illustrate operates under rubric coloniality, this uses autoethnography uncover on-the-ground realities working localities. auto-ethnography revealed despite goal sharing control process, tensions related emerged. result different localities, each team’s processes became distinct—as it was informed by historical, economic geopolitical processes.
